Can other Harvard associated people, such as students access departmental/shared mailboxes?

There will be times that users (especially users who do not have an O365 mailbox) might need to access a Departmental/Shared email account directly via the web. Also, at this time, users without their own mailbox will only be able to access Departmental/Shared accounts via Outlook on the web.

The URL to use for login would be: https://outlook.office365.com/OWA/RaAccountSMTP/#path=/mail

Where: “RaAccountSMTP” could take the form:

  • 1234567ra@exchange.univerisity.harvard.edu
  • GroupEmail@harvard....

How do I share my Office 365 calendar with someone inside or outside of my organization?

You can use the Outlook for the web to publish your calendar so that others outside of your organization can see when you are busy.  Create URLs that will allow people outside your organization to view your calendar online. How do I view or troubleshoot issues with devices connected to my mailbox?

The Mobile devices tab lets you view all the devices that you’re currently using to synchronize with your mailbox. If you’re using a POP or IMAP email program to synchronize your email, that will also appear in the list.

You don’t use Outlook Web App to specify the devices you want to synchronize with your mailbox. Instead, devices that you connect to your mailbox are displayed as connected devices within Outlook Web App after you’ve created a connection to your mailbox.
