Configuring Apple Mail OS 10.6 Through 10.8



Use these instructions to reconfigure your Apple Mail application once you
have been migrated to Office 365 email and calendaring services.

Once you've been migrated, you will not be able to access your
mailbox with Apple Mail until you follow these steps.


1. From your desktop, open Apple Mail

2. Click on File

3. Click on Add Account

4. On the "Welcome to Mail" screen, enter your name, email address and your desktop password and click Continue

5. Apple Mail will connect to Office 365 Email & Calendar to verify your account information

Note: If you already have an Exchange account set up on Apple Mail you will have to delete it.

6. When the Account Summary window opens, click Create

7. Your email will automatically download; this may take some time depending on the size of your mailbox
